Semiotika publishes original papers, review articles and book reviews, annotated translations of semiotic primary sources to Lithuanian, academic discussions, conference reports. More about the journal in About the Journal.

If you want to become an author, please look the About page and the requirements for the submission in Make a Submission. Papers which are not prepared by the guidelines will be returned to authors unreviewed.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all manuscripts (whether original or revised) are written in good Lithuanian, English or French and accurately typed before final submission: there should be no mistakes of spelling, punctuation or style. One set of final editing will be sent to authors before the final publication. It must be returned promptly.

To submit a new manuscript, authors are kindly requested to register before submitting or, if already registered, to log in and begin the five-step process of submission.

Editorial Evaluation Timeline:

  • Initial decision to review: 2 weeks after submission
  • Review process: 2 months after submission
  • Anticipated timeframe for suggested revisions: 1-2 month
  • Time to publication: 1 month after acceptance
