Informatics will play a role of separating line, that will divide countries and people into winners and losers. This phenomenon has not even a state but a world wide scale and it is taking place regardless of us.
There is a concept of informatics presented in this paper and it is stated that tangible gaps between science and education, education and industry, industry and science exist in Lithuania. The conclusion is made that solution of the problems of informatics can be achieved by integration of science, education and industry on the basis of the universities, establishing „clinics" of informatics.
