Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements.
  • Text meets spelling and formatting requirements (Text meets language and writing culture requirements. Text is typed in a single column on an A4 sheet at 1.5 line spacing. Margins 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 cm. Tables and figures are mentioned and discussed in the article. The volume of the article is 5–10 pages).
  • The volume of the summary is 0.5–1 pages. The summary provides the most important information, reflecting all parts of the article. The summary is available in English and Lithuanian. Foreign authors provide abstracts in English only.
  • The text of the article has no clues about its authorship (author names are provided lose to the summaries and article title, there are no other clues that allow identification of at least one of the authors).
  • The authors agree that in order to ensure an anonymous reviewing process, journal editors will edit the paper text for review version. The editing will include authors identity and other authorship related metadata data removal.

Author Guidelines

The journal publishes original scientific articles prepared by young scientists, which publish the results of the authors' research in the fields of biomedicine, physical, humanities, social sciences, and technology. Scientific articles are published in Lithuanian and English.


Bibliographic descriptions of literature sources are provided in the original language of the sources. First, the sources are listed in alphabetical order in Lithuanian, English, German, French, then in Russian. Articles in the social sciences and humanities indicate the author when quoting and in brackets the year of publication of the cited literature source, for example, J. Petraitis (2013) or (Petraitis, 2013). Articles in the fields of biomedicine, physical and technological sciences are allowed to indicate only the number of the cited literature source in the list, for example: [2]; [5, 6]; [2-5]. The bibliography must not contain sources not cited in the text and vice versa – all cited sources must be indicated in the bibliography.

Bibliographic descriptions of sources are compiled according to the following instructions:

  • Books – author's name and initials, year of publication, book title, place of publication (city), publisher, e.g.: Petraitis J., 1995, Visatos istorija. Vilnius: Mokslas.
  • Journal articles – author's name and initials, year of publication, article title, journal title, volume, number, first and last page of the article, e.g.: Petraitis J., 1996, Supply and Demand. Vol. 23. No. 3. P. 56–65.
  • Petraitis J., 2003, Logistikos vieta marketinge. Socialiniai mokslai: Vadyba.  2. P. 47–55.
  • Conference materials, collections of articles – author's name and initials, year of publication, the title of the article, pages of the article, place of publication, and publisher, e.g.: Petraitis J., 1991, Bendrieji teksto teorijos klausimai. Tekstų analizė: tarptautinės konferencijos medžiaga.  12–15. Šiauliai: Titnagas.
  • In the diary of articles – author's name and initials, year of publication, month, day, the title of the article, the title of the daily, page, e.g.: Petraitis A., 2003, gruodžio 5 d., Empirinis intelektas. P. 5.
  • Patents – patent number, state, year, eg: Patent 730653, Lithuania. 2003.
  • Dissertations – author's surname and initials, year, title, the title of research work, place of performance, e.g.: Petraitis J., 1997, Emocinių ir socialinių asmenybės bruožų analizė. Daktaro disertacija. Šiaulių universitetas.
  • Web addresses – Enter the title and full address of the cited source to find the quoted text.

Information about the author

Presented at the end of the manuscript of the article, indicating for each author:

  • the field and field of science represented,
  • area of scientific interest,
  • name of science,
  • the institution represented,
  • contact details (telephone, e-mail addresses).

Reviewing, informing the authors

Articles are reviewed. Reviewers are appointed by the editorial board. After reviewing, articles can be returned to the authors for correction, subject to comments. The authors, after correcting and supplementing the article according to the reviewers' comments, forward it to the e-mail. mail to the editor.

Messy manuscripts that do not meet the requirements of the article are returned to the authors without evaluation.

The final decision on the publication of the article is made by the editorial board by May 15 each year. and until October 15.
