The personalization of social services focuses on increasing individuals’ autonomy and enabling them to make their own decisions regarding the support they need. This idea is becoming an important driver of change not only in social care but also in broader public policy contexts. The article analyzes the concepts of social services and personalized social services and examines the relevance of personalizing social services for families raising children with disabilities to address their unique needs. A qualitative study revealed that personalized social services not only reduce daily stress but also promote greater social inclusion, enabling families to integrate more effectively into society, the education system, and the labor market, thereby reducing social exclusion. Involving families in identifying the need for personalized social services ensures that the services are tailored to the specific needs of both the family and the child.
