Focus and scope. The international journal of linguistics Kalbotyra focuses on synchronic and diachronic research into various aspects of language studies as well as the ones addressing cross-linguistic issues. The journal publishes research articles, reviews of books and reports of conferences. Proceedings of conferences are also invited.  All contributions are reviewed by at least two anonymous referees following the double blind refereeing procedure.

Publication frequency - one volume per year.

Languages. The journal accepts articles in English, French,  German and Lithuanian.

Charges. The journal does not charge article processing charges or submission charges.

We are member of the Initiative for Open Citations (i4OC) which is a multi-stakeholder project to make scholarly citation data openly available to enable the creation of new and better metrics. The journal is a participant of Open Archives Initiative.

Funding. The publication of Kalbotyra 67 has been funded by the Research Council of Lithuania (reg. Nr. LEI-15085).
