Focus and scope. The international diamond open access journal of linguistics Kalbotyra focuses on synchronic and diachronic research into various aspects of language studies as well as the ones addressing cross-linguistic issues. The journal publishes research articles, reviews of books and reports of conferences. Proceedings of conferences are also invited. All contributions are reviewed by at least two anonymous referees following the double blind refereeing procedure.
Publication frequency - one volume per year.
Languages. The journal accepts articles in English, French, German and Lithuanian.
Charges. The journal does not charge article processing charges or submission charges.

We are members of the The Initiative for Open Abstracts (I4OA) which is a collaboration between scholarly publishers, infrastructure organizations, librarians, researchers and other interested parties to advocate and promote the unrestricted availability of the abstracts of the world's scholarly publications, particularly journal articles and book chapters, in trusted repositories where they are open and machine-accessible.
The journal is a participant of Open Archives Initiative. The Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) is a low-barrier mechanism for repository interoperability.
Funding. The publication of Kalbotyra 67 has been funded by the Research Council of Lithuania (reg. Nr. LEI-15085).
