The Case of the Reconstruction of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. The Fate of One Point of View

This volume of articles and the same study examines one of the most controversial cases of heritage reconstruction in the history of independent Lithuania – the reconstruction of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. The study reflects the intellectual disputes between supporters and critics of reconstruction, while viewing this case in the context of more general or international theories and trends in heritage and memory studies. The study presents the concept of this case formulated by its authors.
